Asheville VeganFest speaker and plant-based running advocate, Josh LaJaunie, will be in town on Saturday, April 22, to kick off the 7th annual Run for the Paws 5k, benefitting Brother Wolf Animal Rescue! In addition to running alongside two and four legged Ashevillians in the race, he’ll be giving 2 special addresses throughout the day!
The first of LaJaunie’s addresses will happen after the race at New Belgium Brewery. Josh will talk about his remarkable transformation from morbidly obese to vegan-powered athlete!
At 5 PM, LaJaunie will speak in downtown Asheville at THE BLOCK off biltmore and share his story! He’ll also speak on the health and environmental benefits of plant-based living.
This Saturday’s events coincide with the internationally celebrate Earth Day, so LaJaunie’s remarks will be timely! Going vegan may be the single most effective way to reduce one’s carbon footprint and requires far less precious natural resources than the typical American diet comprised of meat, dairy, and eggs!
LaJaunie will join us in Asheville again for Asheville VeganFest, happening on the weekend of June 10 and 11!
